BEYOND the bounds, Julia’s senior thesis project, tests the boundaries between space, subject, photograph and object through a series of multimedia installation.
What happens to a subject when they become a part of their surroundings? What happens when a photograph is transformed into something else? Using color, shape and form, I translate an idea into something that is bigger than my mind could ever be, surprising myself with each result. Every step taken in the making of this work brings my imagination to a new place, so where do I stop?
